Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Poll Predictions: DMK To Sweep, AIADMK Vote Share Steady, Anti-BJP Sentiment Prevails
Is the BJP finally making waves in Tamil Nadu politics? Many surveys had predicted that the BJP would come out with flying colours in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Tamil Nadu.
However, the latest survey has claimed that the majority sentiment is still prevalent against the BJP. According to Lok Poll, both the BJP and the AIADMK are drawing a blank in the Lok Sabha elections while the Congress and the DMK are sweeping the polls.

While AIADMK maintains its vote share and ground, this isn't translating into seats due to the vote fragmentation, the survey notes.
According to the survey, the BJP-PMK alliance is not benefiting NDA as anticipated, with limited vote conversion across many constituencies. A significant portion of minority votes continues to favour the INDIA alliance, while SC votes are divided between the two major Dravidian parties.
The prevailing sentiment against the BJP remains strong on the ground. Despite anti-incumbency challenges faced by some sitting MPs, they're poised for victory due to the prevailing electoral momentum, the Lok Poll survey adds.
The BJP has tried hard to win a few seats, this time. It was hoping to win a few seats including Coimbatore and Kanniyakumari.
Several surveys have predicted the BJP to win a few seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, the ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll has stated that the DMK and Congress will win all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu.
According to the ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll, the DMK-Congress alliance is poised to sweep the upcoming Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha polls. The INDIA bloc is projected to claim all 39 seats in the state, while the NDA is forecasted to draw a blank. The DMK is expected to secure 30 seats, with the Congress likely to win the remaining.
The voting for all the 39 Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on Friday.
