Tamil Nadu Exam Results 2025: Check Class 12 (Plus 2) Results Online & On Mobile
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced the Class 12 (HSE+2) results today at 9 AM. Students can check their results on the official websites of the board.
Exam Overview
This year, 8,02,568 students from 7,518 higher secondary schools registered for the exams, conducted from March 3 to March 25, 2025. While 11,430 students were absent for the first subject (mostly Tamil), 18,344 private candidates and 145 jail inmates also appeared.

To ensure fair conduct, the DGE deployed 4,800 flying squads across 3,316 exam centers statewide. The exams were held from 10 AM to 1 PM, with the first 10 minutes allotted for reading question papers and the next 5 minutes for verifying candidate details.

Previous Year's Performance (2024)
In 2024, 7,60,606 students appeared, achieving an overall pass percentage of 94.56%. Girls outperformed boys with a 96.44% pass rate, compared to 92.37% for boys.
Unsuccessful candidates can appear for supplementary exams, typically held between June and July.
