BJP's Bhojarajan Wins Udagamandalam (Ooty) In Tamil Nadu Polls

BJP's Bhojarajan has emerged victorious in Udagamandalam (Ooty), defeating his nearest rival Ibrahim R of TVK by a margin of just 976 votes.

He secured 48488 votes while the TVK candidate got 47512 votes. The Congress had fielded Ramachandran B who garnered 45658 votes. NTK's candidate is Ragupathy B could only secure 4641 votes.

The contest had drawn attention not only for its current dynamics but also for its electoral history, which has seen sharp swings between parties over the past decade.

In 2021, Congress candidate R. Ganesh defeated Bhojarajan by a margin of 5,348 votes, underscoring the constituency's competitive nature.
