Tamil Nadu Class 10, 11, 12 Results 2024: Here Is The Date Of Announcement

The Directorate of Government Examinations in Tamil Nadu will announce the results of Classes 10, 11 and 12 in the month of May.

The Board released a statement detailing the schedule for the announcement of exam results.

As per the statement, the Class 12 results will be out on May 6 on Monday. It means only three days left for the results announcement.

However, the Class 11 results will be declared on May 14, while the Class 10 results will be released on May 10.

The Class 10 exams were held from March 1 to 22, while the Class 10 exams occurred between March 26 and April 8.

A staggering nine lakh students registered for the Class X examinations in 2024. The Directorate of Government Examinations had set up over 4,000 examination centres across the state.

This year, a total of 9,10,024 students from 12,616 schools participated in the exams, comprising 4,57,525 boys, 4,52,498 girls, and one transgender student. Additionally, 28,827 students, including 235 prisoners, took the exam as private candidates.

In Chennai alone, 67,000 students will sit for the board exams across 296 centres.

Class 12
This year, around eight lakh Class XII students from Tamil Nadu participated in their board exams. The total number of students, including 4,13,998 girls and 3,58,201 boys, attended exams held across 3,302 centres.

In Chennai alone, 62,124 students took exams at 240 centers, with 21,875 opting to register as private candidates statewide.
