Power Cut In Chennai On July 31: These Areas Will Be Affected

Several parts of Chennai will be affected by power cuts on July 31 (Monday) as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) will be carrying out routine maintenance work.

Many areas in Tamil Nadu's capital will witness power outages between 9 am and 2 pm. The supply may also resume before 2 pm if the maintenance work is completed early in that particular area, according to TANGEDCO.

Here are the areas that will be affected by power cuts in Chennai today (November 10):

The areas which will witness power outages in Mylapore are: Foreshore Estate Vijaya Shanthi Apartments, Kutchery Road, Devadi Street, Girija Garden and above all surrounding areas.

In Tambaram, these areas will be hit by power supply: TNSCB Block 1 To 152, Bharathi Nagar Dlf Perumbakkam Quarters 126 Block Perumbakkam Varadapuram Main Road, Nesamani Nagar, Malls, Casagrand Sithalapakkam Kovilanchery, Noothancheri Link Road, Bhavani Nagar, Iswarya Garden and above all surrounding areas.

The electricity department will suspend power in Nanganallur 5th Main Road, Kulakarai Road, College Road Moovarasanpet Kannan Nagar, Vigneshwara Nagar 1st To 3rd Street, Perumal Nagar Main Road, and above all surrounding areas of Guindy.

In KK Nagar, the areas that will be hit by power supply are: Kodambakkam Voc 1st Main Road And All Streets Virugambakkam Jains Apartment, Arunachalam Road PT Rajan Salai Subbarayan Nagar 8th Street, Bajanai Koil Street Arumbakkam Sowrastra Nagar 1st Street and above all surrounding areas.

In Avadi, Pattabiram Bharathiyar Nagar, IAF Road, Kakkanji Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and above all surrounding areas will be affected by power cuts.

Mathur MMDA, Periya Mathur, Chinna Mathur, Aavin Quarters, Ht Services, Thirupathi Nagar, Subash Nagar and surrounding areas in Vyasarpadi will witness power outages.
