More Flights To Ayodhya: Devotees Get More Options To Reach Temple Town From Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai

Newly-constructed Ayodhya temple has been witnessing a huge rush since its consecration ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla on January 22.

The Ram 'bhakths' are braving fog and cold weather conditions as they reach the temple town from different parts of the country.

"I have come from Lucknow. I thank PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi. They have a divine chariot," The Times of India quoted a devotee as saying.

As the devotees come in big numbers, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is set to launch 8 new SpiceJet flight routes for Ayodhya from February 1. The new flight routes will connect Ayodhya with Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Darbhanga, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and SpiceJet will inaugurate the flight services.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the new Ram Temple, last week. It was attended industrialists, film personalities including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, sportmen Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Saina Nehwal among others.
