In a digital age, every word is scrutinized and every error amplified. Actress turned BJP leader, Khushbu Sundar, experienced this firsthand when a slip of the tongue during a rally in Salem, Tamil Nadu, led to an embarrassing situation.

For the unversed, OPS (O Panneerselvam) is part of the NDA camp while the EPS (Edappadi K Palaniswami) is heading a different front in Tamil Nadu.

As the video of her gaffe spread like wildfire across social media platforms, netizens seized the opportunity to unleash a barrage of mockery and criticism.

"Even the name seems to have been forgotten.. 🤭👀," one user commented. The second user said, "Is it her fault if there is no take two? Be nice, Sumanth."

The third user commented, " Madam, that's what the truth comes out... You yourself have more confusion about who shared the dias.. either OPS or EPS... So your voice is only for the power and money which you required and not on the intent on service motto. Thanks for clarifying.🙏🏻."

PM Gets Emotional At Salem Rally
Prime Minister Narendra Modi got emotional as he spoke about a slain BJP functionary in this district 10 years ago.

PM recalled three personalities related to the district, including the late BJP leader KN Lakshmanan. However, he turned emotional while talking about 'Auditor' Ramesh, who was hacked to death. After a brief pause in his speech, the PM resumed and reminisced about Ramesh's contributions to the party.

"I can't forget Auditor Ramesh. Unfortunately today Ramesh is not among us. Ramesh worked hard for the party, day and night and he was a good orator. But he was killed. Today I pay my tributes to him," Modi said.

V Ramesh, an auditor by profession, was a Salem-based state general secretary of the party. He was hacked to death in his house in July 2013.

PM Modi also paid rich tributes to the late Lakshmanan, recalling his contributions for the party's growth in Tamil Nadu.

V Ramesh, a professional auditor hailing from Salem, served as the state general secretary of the party. Tragically, he was brutally murdered in his home in July 2013.

The Prime Minister also honored the memory of the late Lakshmanan, acknowledging his significant contributions to the party's advancement in Tamil Nadu.
