Jaya health: TN DGP asks cops to report by 7 AM for bandobast

In a 2 line order, DGP asked all officers from SP rank and police personnel of other ranks of enforcement like CBCID, EOW and crime to report to duty in full uniform.

Tamil Nadu DGP Rajendran on Sunday ordered all policemen to report to their respective districts and Commissionerate offices at 7 AM on Monday. The order copy was sent via fax to all zonal IGPs, commissioners, range officers and district superintendent of police.

In a 2 line order, DGP asked all officers from SP rank and police personnel of other ranks of enforcement like CBCID, EOW and crime to report to duty in full uniform.

The order copy further asks policemen to report with their vehicle for the purpose of bandobast until further orders. The move is a precautionary measure to ensure law and order doesn't suffer in the wake of Tamil Nadu Chief Mnister J Jayalalithaa's health.
