As actor-turned-politician Vijay launched his much-anticipated political campaign in Trichy yesterday, the enormous crowd that gathered created waves across Tamil Nadu's political landscape. Seeman, chief coordinator of the Naam Tamilar Party, delivered a sharp critique of the attention focused on crowd size rather than political substance.

Speaking to reporters at Coimbatore airport, Seeman remarked, "Vijay has started his campaign, and naturally, thousands have turned up.

People are excited to see the star they grew up watching on screen now stepping into the political arena. It reminds me of our childhood, when we would wait for hours just to catch a glimpse of legends like MGR and Sivaji. Of course, a crowd will come."

But Seeman didn't stop there. He provocatively added, "If brother Ajith had come, the crowd would have been even bigger. Even if Rajinikanth had joined, the numbers would have soared further. And if Nayanthara had stepped in, the crowd would have easily doubled. But this is not a film set. Don't be fooled by the spectacle - what matters is the policy, or else no meaningful change will ever take place."

Asserting the ideological stance of his party, Seeman declared, "We are the only political force that works for the people. If anyone is facing trouble, I will be there, standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Our next big event is the 'Mountain Conference' in Dharmapuri, where we will further elaborate on our vision for Tamil Nadu."
