Hindi Speaking Man Calls Chennai NIA Office, Threatens To Kill PM Modi During Poll Campaign
The Chennai the National Investigation Agency (NIA) office on Thursday received a call where the Hindi speaker threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the poll campaign.
"A person contacted the control room of the National Investigation Agency's office operating in Purasaivakam, Chennai this morning and threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hindi. The National Intelligence Agency officials have informed the Chennai Police officials about this and provided the phone number to them. The Chennai Cyber Crime Police is investigating the matter," News9 quoted sources as saying.

The call was received around 9.30 am. A report claimed that the call was traced to Madhya Pradesh.
The Chennai NIA unit has alert its counterpart in Madhya Pradesh and the investigation is on.
