CM Stalin Granted A New House To A Poor Family, Kid Harshini On Cloud Nine

CM Stalin provided a place to stay and arranged for the treatment of a child who came seeking help. The kid's family is on cloud nine having received a permanent house. The details about the kid and how her meeting with CM led to granting of a house are given in the article.

Harshini's meeting with CM Stalin:

Harshini is studying in 4th standard in Bentinck Higher Secondary school. Her father is an auto driver and mother, a sweeper. Harshini has Hemophilia, a condition in which blood does not clot properly. CM Stalin invited Harshini and her family to meet them. First, the family met Udhayanidhi Stalin who went through the hospital reports of Harshini and gave confidence by saying that the condition is treatable with medicines.

After the meeting with Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, CM Stalin met the family. CM Stalin enquired about the well-being of Harshini, her studies, meals in schools, her residence etc. "Patiently listening to all the details, CM discussed something with his associates and handed over a house deed to our family. My heartfelt gratitude to CM Stalin, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Ma. Subramanian", said Harshini.

Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's tweet about Harshini:

"Rajeev is an auto driver from Periyamedu area in Chennai. His daughter is Harshini who has a rare condition called Hemophilia. Health and Family welfare minister Ma. Subramanian has arranged for the treatment of the child. When this information came to our notice, we met Harshini and her family in person and enquired about her health.

During the meeting, the family requested the government to give them a place to stay since they are homeless people who live on the roadside. The request was forwarded to the concerned department and a house was allotted to Harshini's family on behalf of Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board in Sathyamurthy nagar project area. May all the dreams of Harshini come true in the new house!"

Harshini father's point of view:

Rajeev said, "On 26th December 2022, CM Stalin came to T-nagar for a function, we also went to the function to give the petition seeking help for the treatment of my daughter and requesting a house to live in. When we reached the venue, CM Stalin was about to leave and we couldn't give the petition. Suddenly Harshini asked me to lift her and when I did, she waved goodbye to CM Stalin. Hearing the voice of a child, CM Stalin waved back and enquired to his associates about the kid's presence in the function."

Harshini's father continued, "Minister Ma. Subramanian contacted us and heard our grievances. Being a minister of health sector, he immediately informed the hospital to start treatment for Harshini. In the middle of this, Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin invited us and treated us with respect. It was a proud moment for us. He even asked our preference of hospital for the treatment."

"Finally, we met CM Stalin who embraced Harshini with love and said consoling words to her. He promised he will take care of the treatment and informed us about the arrangement for the house also. The house deed was given to us which was an unforgettable moment to our family. In just a day everything turned upside down. I am eternally grateful to CM Stalin and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin", said Harshini's father.
