Chennai twin blasts: South IM suspected behind attacks

Though it was initially thought that the Indian Mujahideen (IM) was behind the attacks, a seperate module of the IM is suspected to be behind the attacks. Investigators who are looking for the suspect, Abubacker Siddique is said to have formed SIM.
Police officials say that Siddique is known for his precision in killing and aiming at specific targets.
The twin bomb blasts that took place on May 1 was not far away from the place where BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was supposed to address a rally. Modi was supposed to speak at a rally in Nellore.
Police officials say that though the twin blasts claimed one life and injured many, it was intended to create panic and not to claim any lives.
