Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat's Viral Clip: Women Group Sings Tamil Song, Netizens Say 'Irritating'
Southern Railway has posted a video of the Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express on the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated.
In the clip, a group of female passengers are seen singing a Tamil song from Kamal Haasan's yesteryear movie. Initially, the clip had met with a good response.

However, many netizens on X slammed the clip and said that such acts will irritate other passengers. "Don't travel In Vande Bharath . Or else v have to face these kind of irritating Public nuisance," one user said.
The second user commented, "Honestly irritating, they can wear headphones and listen to their song, or may be get down and do group activities."
The third user said, "If I am paying a premium to travel, I need a good and comfortable sleep, streaming music of my personal choice through headphones. Don't make this a new normal."
Urging the concerned authorities to take action, one user said, @grpchennai please take action against this public nuisance & also against officials who promote this @DrmChennai."
A netizen questioned, "Why are they even promoting such acts."
Expressing his anguish on such behaviour on public transport, one user commented, "How much extra do I have to pay to shut up such passengers creating public nuisance? Are you encouraging this behaviour? What if somebody just wants to sleep in this modern, silent-operation train?"
A user stated, "It is not symphony. Its noise to fellow passengers who did not pay to get into this chaotic circus."
One user wrote a lengthy post to register his post. He said, "We are quickly descending to worst form of crude majoritarianism in every sphere of our lives @AshwiniVaishnaw, with zero regard to fellow passengers. This is the most obscene form of electioneering.
The most disgusting part is, senior government employees are allowing themselves to be used as political tool. Why don't such creatures resign from jobs and officially join Modi's IT Cell? But why blame them? This moral degeneration is flowing from the very top.
Every nut and bolt of the government of India is being abused for furthering the political career of one person. Wow! They are singing a song from a film that was released 33 years ago. Don't think any of them were born then:)"
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday virtually flagged off the second exclusive Vande Bharat Express train between Chennai and Mysuru.
The regular operation of the new Vande Bharat train (Train No 20663/20664) is set to begin on March 14, 2024. Until April 4, 2024, it will run between Dr MGR Chennai Central and SMVT Bengaluru, making stops at Katpadi and Krishnarajapuram stations.
