BJP's Vote Share Will Comfortably Cross 25% In Tamil Nadu: Annamalai's Big Prediction

Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K Annamalai has predicted that his party's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls will be "historic".

Speaking in an interview with Times Now, Annamalai said, "I will confidently say the performance of the BJP will be historic, which might not have happened at any point of time in history. "

He said that the upcoming general pp;;s is a tough election as it will be a three-way contest in Tamil Nadu. "We have DMK alliance, which has not changed for the last 10 years. They have finished ticket distribution also. Absolutely rich in money power and muscle power. Then we have two major alliances led by the BJP and the other by the AIADMK at this point in time."

According to him, young voters between 18-35 years will play a major role in the upcoming polls. "You are looking at 18-35 years of young voters, roughly there are about 33 per cent. one-third of voters are very young in Tamil Nadu. Their idea is completely different. They are completely free from ideology, predominantly they have seen the performance of Modji over the last 10 years," he added.

He continued, "Many might have not seen the governance of the Congress government for 2004-2014. Somebody who is giving their first vote today might be 8 year or 9 years when the Congress just lost power in 2004."

According to him, the BJP will comfortably cross 25 per cent vote share in Tamil Nadu in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. When the interviewer asked whether she could challenge him on his claims, the TN BJP chief said, "I am putting it in the record and talking to media where the record is happening. I am not going to go anywhere and I am just one phone call away. You will call me on the counting day,"

In recent months, several surveys have indicated a massive rise in the BJP vote in the coming polls although it differs in the seat projections. The party, this time, does not have an alliance with the AIADMK and forming an alliance with smaller parties.
