Amid Rift Rumours, Annamalai Meets Tamilisai Soundararajan
Amid the rumours of rift, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai on Friday met former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at her residence in Chennai.
After the meeting, he shared a post in which he claimed that her experience and advice will help the BJP party grow in the state.

In the post, Annamalai said, "Today, one of the senior BJP leaders and @BJP4Tamilnadu who has worked effectively as the State President, Akka Mrs. @DrTamilisai4BJP was very happy to visit her residence in person.
Asserting that the lotus will surely bloom in Tamil Nadu, Ms. Mrs. @DrTamilisai4BJP worked hard for it, her political experience and suggestions continue to give inspiration for the development of the party."
After the BJP failed to win a single seat in Tamil Nadu in the Lok Sabha polls, Tamilisai Soundararajan had said that the DMK would not have won a single seat if the BJP had an alliance with the AIADMK.
"If we had an alliance with AIADMK, DMK would have won these many seats today. Alliance is a political strategy. The DMK has used that strategy in Tamil Nadu and this reality must be acknowledged," Tamilisai stated.
Her statement was seen as an attack against Annamalai.
Days ago, a video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah apparently engaging in a serious animated conversation with Tamil Nadu BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan has surfaced online.
Looking at the clip, many people believe that Shah was warning Tamilisai Soundararajan for her recent comments against Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai.
The DMK wasted no time and attacked Shah for showing disrespect towards the senior party leader from Tamil Nadu.
