After Vijay & Trisha, Bomb Threat To Khushbu's Chennai Residence

Actress-turned-politician Khushbu is the latest celebrity linked to Tamil cinema who has received a bomb threat to her residence. Recently, similar threats were reported at the homes of, Illaiyaraaja, Vijay, Trisha and Mansoor Ali Khan.

The BJP leader herself spoke about receiving bomb threat and thanked the cops for their swift action.

In a post on X, she wrote, "Immense gratitude to TN police, my area police station E5, and the bomb squad for the swift action taken after a bomb threat at my home. We are safe and sound. Thank you for the concern calls and messages that have come our way."

Khushboo further added that they are doing well with the blessings of the almighty, love of family and friends, the good wishes of our fans and loved ones.

Who is Khushbu?

Khushbu rose to fame in Tamil cinema during the late 1980s and 1990s, starring alongside leading actors like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Her relationship with director Sundar C blossomed during the filming of "Murai Maman," leading to their marriage with family approval. They have two daughters who are also pursuing careers in cinema.

She had first joined DMK after triggering a controversy with her comments on pre-marital sex. She then moved to Congress before joining the BJP. She is currently the Vice President of the Tamil Nadu BJP.
