Accident Caught On Cam: Speeding Bus Rams Bike, 3-Year-Old Child Dies In Tamil Nadu

In a tragic incident, a three-year-old child was killed after a bus rammed into a bike. The incident occurred in the Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.

A video of the accident surfaced online. The accident was captured by the dashcam of the bus which rammed the two-wheeler.

In the clip, the bus hits the bike as the two-wheeler tries to cross the road without putting an indicator. The bus driver, apparently, could not slow down and hit the bike, bringing Ashok Kumar (32), his wife Susheela and their three-year-old child under the wheels.

The injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital. As per the reports in the Tamil media, Susheela is undergoing treatment after suffering grievous injuries. The bus driver along with the conductor fled the spot after the accident.

This accident led localities to hold protests against the authorities for not taking action against rash bus drivers in the region.

The Periyanayakanpalayam Police, who arrived on the spot, pacified the people and assured them of taking necessary action.
