3-Year Old Boy Who Attended SRK's 'Jawan' Audio Launch Killed In Accident Involving Stray Cattle

In an unfortunate incident, a boy, who attended the audio launch function of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' on Wednesday, was killed in an accident.

On Wednesday, a bike carrying a 3-year-old boy and his parents collided with a stray cattle near Somangalam, resulting in the unfortunate death of the child, according to a report in DT Next. This is the second such incident to occur in the same road involving cattle in less than a month, the report adds.

The boy is identified as Ruthresh of Kanadapalaiyam near Tambaram.

Ruthresh, with his father Ramakrishnan, mother Vinotha, and younger brother Nithin (6), attended the audio launch event of the movie 'Jawan' held at a private college in Naduveerapattu.

After attending the event, they were returning home in Kanadapalaiyam on a bike on the Somangalam-Tambaram Road. Their bike rammed a cattle, causing all four individuals to tumble onto the road. The police reported that due to critical head injuries, the youngest son, Ruthresh, tragically lost his life at the spot, while the others managed to sustain minor injuries and escape further harm.

The body has been sent for the post-mortem to the Chromepet GH. A case has been registered and the investigation is on.

In a similar incident, a woman was killed after being hit by a stray cattle when was travelling with her husband on the same road.

The Somangalam police who visited the spot sent the body for post-mortem to the Chromepet GH and the police have registered a case and further inquiry is on.

The audio launch function of 'Jawan' was held at a private college in Chennai on Wednesday evening. It was graced by Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh and many others.
