Gold Today Rate, 22 April: The ongoing trade dispute between the United States and China has led to market instability, causing investors to flock to safe-haven assets like gold. As a result, the price of gold has climbed over 25% since the beginning of this year 2025.

Tariffs imposed by Donald Trump, a weakening US Dollar, and growing concerns about an impending economic slowdown have all contributed to the sharp rise in gold prices. On April 22, 2025, at 9:10 am, the price of gold on the MCX reached a record high of ₹98,930 per 10 grams, a rise of ₹1,795 per 10 grams. At the same time, MCX silver prices increased by ₹508 per kilogram, reaching ₹95,608 per kilogram.

As of 11 am on April 22, the price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,01,350 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was valued at ₹92,900 per 10 grams.

Silver, according to the Indian Bullion Association (IBA), stood at ₹95,720 per kilogram for Silver 999 Fine.
