You Will Suffer The Same Fate As Neha Hiremath: 20-Year-Old Anjali Stabbed To Death In Hubballi

Hubballi is grappling with another young woman's murder, following the recent case of Neha Hiremath. Anjali Ambigera, a 20-year-old resident of Veerapur Oni Hubli, was stabbed to death in her own home early on Wednesday.

The accused identified as Girish Sawant has been arrested by the police. Reports indicate a possible motive related to unrequited love.

Girish allegedly committed the act out of anger after Anjali rejected his love. The incident occurred at 5:30 in the morning while Anjali was asleep in her house. Girish entered the house and stabbed her with a knife, despite protests from her family.

According to reports, Anjali's family alleges that Girish had threatened her previously, referencing the Neha Hiremath case. Despite complaints to the police, no action was taken.

Before the murder, Girish had reportedly threatened Anjali, saying, "I will do what happened to Niranjan Hiremath's daughter if you don't come with me," referring to the tragic fate of Neha Hiremath. Anjali's grandmother, Gangamma, had informed the police about Girish's threats, but no action was taken.

Girish has a history of involvement in theft cases, and a murder case has been registered against him at the Bendigeri police station. The murder of Neha Hiremath by Fayaz last month in the BVB College campus had sparked outrage and controversy, with allegations of love jihad and widespread protests across the region.
