Who Is Nagaraj Rachaiya? Close Aide Of Darshan Arrested In Renuka Swamy Murder Case
In a major development in the Renuka Swamy murder case, Karnataka police have arrested Nagaraj, a close aide of Kannada cine star Darshan Thoogudeepa, and his co-star Pradosh on Thursday.
Nagaraj, known as Nagu among his close friends, has long harbored ambitions of becoming a corporator in Mysore. However, he currently finds himself in police custody at the Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station.

Originally from Mysuru, Nagaraj is a key figure in Darshan's inner circle and is believed to have played a crucial role in the murder case. Reports suggest that Nagaraj lured Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga to Bangalore, leading to his unfortunate demise.
Apart from his association with Darshan, Nagaraj is known for his political connections. He aspired to contest elections from the 21st ward of the Mysore Municipal Corporation and become a corporator. Nagaraj has been actively involved with the Congress party in recent years and even contested for the State Shepherds Association from Mysore, where he was elected as a director. Nagaraj's political ambitions seem to have led him to forge a close relationship with Darshan, who is known to have connections with influential politicians across party lines.
Originally from TK Layout, Mysuru, Nagaraj used to work at a petrol station. His friendship with Darshan spans over 15 years, during which he has been responsible for various aspects of Darshan's life, including meals, snacks, accommodation, and travel. Nagaraj also managed Darshan's farmhouse in Hundi, Kempaya, Mysore taluk.
