Wedding Day Drama: Woman Halts Ceremony Moments Before Tying Mangalsutra In Chitradurga
In a dramatic turn of events, a woman halted the proceedings just as the groom was about to tie the Mangalsutra around her neck in Chikkabyaladakere, Chitradurga District. According to reports, Aishwarya abruptly declared she didn't want to marry Manjunath, sparking a heated argument between the two families.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showcasing family members desperately trying to convince Aishwarya to proceed with the wedding.

The groom's family alleged that the woman's side had initially agreed to the marriage under the condition that Aishwarya could pursue her education post-wedding. They further allege paying Rs 50,000 for her admission to the BCA program at Chikkanayakanahalli Degree College.
"We agreed to Aishwarya's parents' condition that she could continue her studies after marriage," stated Ramesh, Manjunath's brother, to TV9 Kannada. "The engagement had already taken place, and we had received their consent six months ago."
Reportedly, a few months ago, Aishwarya had notified Manjunath's parents of her reluctance to marry. However, her parents reassured the groom's family that their daughter had consented. On the wedding day, Aishwarya called the police, claiming she was being forced into marriage.
In the presence of police, Aishwarya's family agreed to reimburse the groom's family Rs 3 lakh for the wedding preparations, reports TV9 Kannada.
