Obscene Videos Case: Women Flee Hassan In Fear As Prajwal Revanna's Leaked Video Clips Go Viral

Allegations of sexual assault by JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna have rattled Karnataka's Hassan district, prompting women to flee in fear, according to Indian Express report.

Amid his re-election bid, Prajwal, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, faces these serious accusations.

The situation worsened after Prajwal's father, HD Revanna was arrested in connection with abduction of a woman to prevent her from approaching the SIT probing the allegations.

Residents fear reprisals for speaking against the influential family.
It must be noted that the first complaint was filed on April 28 by a woman who worked at Revanna's residence.

The family of the abducted woman, allegedly taken on Revanna's orders, is traumatised by the circulation of victim's videos. However, the victim was rescued by SIT officials from a house in Hunsur, Mysuru district.

The victim's son had reported the incident, leading to H D Revanna's arrest on kidnapping charges.

Before the videos surfaced, the victim was asked to return to work at Revanna's farmhouse, with promises of her pending salary. The family, now under SIT protection, fears returning to their village.

Meanwhile, several families have left the area, fearing for their safety.

Women linked to JD(S) have faced backlash, deleting social media photos with Prajwal and facing scrutiny. Video releases revealing identities have worsened matters, leading to more families leaving.

The Hassan district remains tense as investigations continue, raising questions about others involved in the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal.
