Amidst mounting troubles for NDA's candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, Prajwal Revanna, and his father HD Revanna, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will likely seek a 'Blue Corner Notice' against the Hassan MP. Prajwal, the 33-year-old grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and the current JD(S) MP from Hassan, is embroiled in allegations of sexual abuse after numerous explicit videos surfaced recently.

Meanwhile, a lookout notice has been issued against HD Revanna to prevent him from leaving the country. The case has sparked public outrage, with 700 citizens signing an open letter to the National Commission for Women (NCW) urging strict action against Revanna.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah convened an emergency meeting with top police officials and the Special Investigation Team handling the Prajwal Revanna sex tapes case. The Chief Minister was briefed about the possibility of the CBI issuing a "Blue Corner Notice" against Prajwal Revanna.

Additionally, the Special Investigation Team has issued a lookout notice against HD Revanna and intensified its probe into a kidnapping case involving him. A 20-year-old man has alleged that an associate of the JD(S) MLA abducted his mother, who worked as a house help at Revanna's farmhouse. The investigation has spanned more than 50 locations.

Former Mandya MP and BJP leader LR Shivarame Gowda, in a press conference, accused HD Revanna of being a repeat offender, citing incidents dating back to their trip to England 30 years ago. Gowda claimed to have caught Revanna "red-handed" but stopped short of confirming if it was a case of rape.

As part of the investigation, the police have seized the mobile phone of Sathish, a close aide of Revanna, and sent it to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis. Sathish's movements are being tracked to locate the kidnapped woman.

To bolster the probe into the sex tapes case, the Special Investigation Team has appointed additional personnel, including a Superintendent of Police (SP) and two inspectors. This move follows a letter from Rahul Gandhi to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, urging support for the victims.

Acknowledging Gandhi's letter, Siddaramaiah emphasized the need for justice in the case. The investigation has also extended to the residences of both Revannas, with further inquiries expected to be conducted at locations relevant to the alleged crimes.
