Sandalwood actor Darshan, who has been arrested in a murder case of Renuka Swamy, has now made a shocking statement during interrrogation. Darshan, who was initially claimed that he was not present there when Renuka Swamy was killed, has now admitted to being there at crime scene but maintains he did not participate in the assault, according to reports. According to the Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police, Darshan disclosed this new information during their inquiry.

Now, the rest of the accused are being intensively interrogated by the police. Meanwhile, Police are trying to find evidence related to Darshan entering the godown or shed and leaving the crime scene.

The police have obtained the statement of the arrested accused in the murder case. From this, it was known that actor Darshan was present during the incident. At Present, Kamakshipalya police station has recorded the statement of all the accused involved in the murder case. The files of statements have now been taken to Annapurneswari Nagar police station.

It is said that the police will take Darshan and the other accused face to face, question them and interrogate them.

Meanwhile, Darshan's lawyer told ANI that he will file for bail application.

Renuka Swamy murder case background

Renuka Swamy (33) from Chitradurga was killed because he had sent obscene messages to Darshan's close friend Pavithra Gowda.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand said that this matter has come to light during the preliminary investigations.

It must be noted that Renuka Swamy Darshan is also a D Boss fan. Due to the rift between Darshan and Vijayalakshmi's marriage due to Darshan's close friend Pavitra Gowda, he had sent obscene messages on social media out of anger at Pavitra.

Because of this, Darshan got angry with Renuka Swamy and decided to teach him a lesson. Later, Renuka Swamy was called to Benglauru with the help of his fans and was assaulted and murdered. The body was then thrown into the culvert.
