RCB Victory Parade Cancelled: Bengaluru Gears Up for Grand 'Ee Sala Cup Namdu' Celebration Inside Stadium

RCB Victory Parade in Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans had eagerly awaited a historic victory parade through the city after the team lifted their first-ever IPL title in 2025. However, the planned celebration on Wednesday, June 4, has taken a different turn. Due to crowd and traffic management concerns, Bengaluru Police have expressed reservations about allowing the open-bus parade.

The initial plan involved a grand RCB Victory Parade starting at 3:30 PM from Vidhana Soudha and concluding at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. But as per the latest updates, discussions are ongoing, and the parade now appears unlikely.

Instead, the city will host a felicitation ceremony for the IPL 2025 champions at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Only fans with valid tickets or passes will be allowed entry to the venue. With parking facilities expected to be limited, the public is strongly encouraged to use the Metro and other public transportation services.

Meanwhile, Raghu Dixit, who won the best playback singer male award, is set to perform at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium tonight.

RCB clinched their first-ever IPL title by defeating Punjab Kings in a nail-biting final in Ahmedabad. The six-run win marked the end of a long wait for fans who have stood by the franchise through thick and thin since its inception in 2008.

"Ee Sala Cup Namdu" Finally Comes True

Bengaluru erupted in joy as Virat Kohli, who has been the heart and soul of RCB for over a decade, lifted the trophy with his teammates. The chants of "Ee Sala Cup Namde" turned into "Ee Sala Cup Namdu", resonating across every street of the city.

"This win is as much for the fans as it is for the team. It has been 18 long years," said an emotional Kohli after the match. "I gave my youth and my prime years to this franchise. I never thought this day would come."

As soon as the final ball was bowled, fireworks lit up the Bengaluru skyline. Streets were filled with bike processions, waving flags, and endless chants of "RCB" and "Kohli."
