Rameshwaram Cafe, Site Of Bomb Blast, To Reopen With Bang On Mar 8: CEO Announces
Rameshwaram Cafe outlet in Brookfield where a low-intensity blast occurred on Friday will reopen on March 8, co-founder and CEO of the popular city eatery announced.
On Friday afternoon, the bomb blast injured at least ten people. One woman has lost her eyes, CEO Raghavendra Rao said.

Founder and CEO of Rameshwaram Cafe, Raghavendra Rao says, "I want to convey my strong regards to people who have got hurt. I wanted to say that we are with them, their family. One woman lost her eyes, and we are there with her. We are with our staff, four or five people, who are hurt very badly.
We need all your blessings to show what is the power of youth and to say we are Indians and we are no less than anybody. We're going to launch on Friday with a good bang. And we need all of your support... I request the government of Karnataka and India to make sure that this incident should not happen anywhere in India..."
After the incident, the eatery was cordoned off as part of the city police's investigation.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda stated that the investigation into the incident, caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), is proceeding swiftly.
The Bengaluru Police have registered a case under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosives Substances Act in relation to the explosion at the popular quick-service eatery.
In a post on 'X', the Bengaluru Police Commissioner said, "Investigation of the case has been handed over to the Central Crime Branch (CCB). All the injured are recovering. No arrest (have been) made." Earlier in the day, police sources said that four persons have been detained for questioning in connection with yesterday's low-intensity bomb blast at a Bengaluru eatery. They were picked up from Dharwad, Hubballi and Bengaluru.
