Pradeep Eshwar Has Become Laughing Stock: BJP On Cong MLA's Entry To 'Bigg Boss Kannada' House

A row has erupted after Chikkaballapur MLA Pradeep Eshwar entered the 'Bigg Boss Kannada' house recently.

Eshwar was seen in inside the house where he interacted with the inmates of the reality show while trying to motivate them.

"For the first time in history, an MLA has entered the house of 'Bigg Boss Kannada.' It has become a joke," BJP leader K Sudhakar, who lost to Pradeep Eshwar in the assembly polls earlier this year from Chikkabalapur constituency, said.

The ex-state health minister said that Chikkabalapur was once a constituency held up as a role model, but now Eshwara has reduced its reputation to a laughingstock.

Kolar MP Muniswamy also criticised Eshwar and said, "People who are crazy about movies and reality shows are unfit to be in politics. Does Chikkabalapur needs such a public representative?" he asked.

He then told Eshwar that the people from his constituency elected him to serve them. "Let him become a hero in the eyes of people rather than on reality shows," he added.

On the other hand, a complaint has been lodged with the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly UT Khader against the Congress MLA for taking part in the reality show.

A group called the Vande Mataram Social Service Organisation has submitted the complaint to the Speaker, asking for the removal of Eshwar as a legislator.

"Pradeep Eshwar is a legislator from Chikkaballapur constituency. He is getting a salary from the state government and he needs to respond to the grievances of the people of his constituency at any given point. Without realising his responsibility, he has gone to participate in an entertainment reality programme," the complaint alleged, as per the IANS.

The statement emphasized the need for his immediate dismissal from his position, suggesting that his salary and allowances should also be withheld.
