Power Cuts In Bengaluru Until June 26: Check Affected Areas And Timings

Maintenance works by KPTCL and Bescom are scheduled over the next few days, leading to power supply interruptions in several areas of Bengaluru from June 25 until June 26. Here are the timings and locations where power supply could be disrupted. The power disruption is scheduled to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.

According to the notification, areas that will be affected include:

Power outages will affect HBR Layout 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th blocks, Yasin Nagar, Subash Layout, Rama temple road, Ramdev Garden, Krishna Reddy Layout, Teachers Colony, Shivaramaiah Layout, Ring Road, service road, KK Halli, CMR Road, Kammanahalli main road, Ramaiah Layout, Lingarajapura, Janakiram Layout, Kanakadasa Layout, Govindapura mian road, Rashad Nagar, Farida Shoe Factor, Arabic College, KG Halli, Govindapura village, Vinoba Nagar, BM Layout, Arogyamma Layout, Cauvery Garden and surrounding areas, Nagawara main road, Nagawara, NGK Garments, Byranakunte, Kuppuswamy Layout, HKBK College, Vidya Sagar, Thanisandra, RK Hegde Nagar, K Narayanapura, NN Halli, Balaji Layout, Railway Men's Layout, BDS Layout, Central Excise Layout, Hennur main road, HRBR 3rd block, Oil Mill Road, Aravind Nagar, Nehru Road, Kammanahalli Main Road, Bethel Street, AK Colony, HRBR 1st and 3rd Blocks, 80-feet road, Karle, Nagenahalli, Police quarters, Kempegowda Layout, Shabari Nagar, KMT Layout, Bharatiya City, Noor nagar, Bharat Mata Layout, Hidayat Nagar, Lidkar Colony, BMRCL, Gandhinagar, Kushalnagar, Shampura main road and surrounding areas.

June 26 (10.30 am to 4.30 pm) Wednesday's Power Outage (Hennur Centre):

The affected areas include Jayamahal Extension, Nandidurg Road, Doordarshan Kendra, Jayamahal main road, Munireddypalya, JC Nagar, Marappa Garden, Chinnappa Garden, NDA Road, Airtel. For grievances, consumers can call the helpline 1901, a press release said.

The scheduled power outage is necessary for emergency maintenance work. BESCOM apologises for the inconvenience and assures residents that the work will be completed as quickly as possible.

Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements to minimize the impact of the power outage.
