Power Cuts In Bengaluru On December 19: Check Affected Areas Listed By BESCOM
Residents in parts of Bengaluru's Padmanabhanagar and LR Bande are set to experience scheduled power disruptions on Wednesday, December 18, and Thursday, December 19 due to emergency maintenance work being undertaken by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has issued a notice informing residents about the planned outages.

Areas Affected on Wednesday December 18
(10:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
The following areas in Padmanabhanagar and its surroundings will be impacted:
- Banagirinagar, Papaiah Garden, and areas near Balaji Kalyana Mantapa
- Siddamma and Siddiah Reddy area
- 9th Sub Divisional Office and Jayanagar Divisional Office
- 30th Main, 30th Cross, B.N.M. College, BDA Complex, Devagiri Temple
- BSNL Office, Banashankari 2nd Stage, SLV Hotel to 24th Cross
- Upahara Hotel, Channammanakere Achukattu area
- Manjunath Colony, BMTC Depot, Rajiv Nagar, Syndicate Bank Colony
- Padmanabhanagar, Raghavendra Layout, 18th Main Telephone Exchange
- Kidney Foundation, Maharaja Hospital, Lakshikanta Kalyana Mandapa, and Puttalingaiah Road
- RK Layout, Kadirenahalli, Teachers Colony, Yarab Nagar, 9th Main, and Mono Type
- Uma Maheshwari Temple area (15th to 17th D Cross)
- Richmond Town, Richmond Circle, Johnson Market, and surrounding roads like Noris Road, Curly Street, Leonard Street, and Rhenius Street.
Areas Affected on Thursday, December 19, 2024 (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
The following areas linked to the 66/11KV LR Bande Station will face power interruptions:
- Kavalabirasandra, LR Bande Main Road, and Gandhinagar
- Chinnavana Layout, Ambedkar Layout, and Anwar Layout
- Ambedkar Medical College, Sultan Palya, Rankanagar, Kanaka Nagar, and KHB Main Road
- Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, DG Halli, KG Halli, and KG Colony
- Adarsh Nagar, V. Nagenahalli, Periyar Nagar, and Periyar Circle
- Shampura, Kushal Nagar, Modi Road, and Modi Garden
- Doddanna Nagar, Muniveerappa Layout, Sugar Mandi, Salt Mandi, and Muneshwar Nagar
