Pavithra Gowda Smiling Video And No Remorse Amid Renuka Swamy Murder Case Goes Viral
A video of Kanada actress Pavithra Gowda, an accused in the Renuka Swamy murder case, has gone viral, showing her smiling with no remorse. The video was captured during a mahazar exercise conducted at Pavitra's house by Bengaluru police in connection with the case.
Netizens shared the video widely, commenting on Pavithra's apparent lack of remorse as she was seen laughing during the mahazar, an on-site investigation exercise.

The Kamakshipalya police, investigating the kidnap and murder of Renuka Swamy, recovered the footwear of Pavithra Gowda, who is also Sandalwood star Darshan's close friend, from her house in Kenchenahalli, Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Pavithra, Darshan, and his aides are among the 17 people arrested for the murder of Renuka Swamy over his obscene posts against her.
Pavitra Gowda said to be the first person to attack Renuka Swamy
According to a police officer, "As per the confession of the accused persons, Pavithra was the first one to assault Renuka Swamy with her footwear before others subjected him to brutality at a seized-vehicle parking yard in Pattanagere, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where he was held captive on June 8."
Mahazar exercises were also conducted at the houses of other accused individuals - Vinay in Pattanagere and Deepak in BEML Layout, RR Nagar. Vinay's clothes were seized from his house, and other evidence was collected. A senior police officer mentioned that Vinay was also involved in the assault and disposal of Renuka Swamy's body.
Deepak was taken to his aunt's house, where he had bathed after the assault. Police seized his clothes and footwear as well. Four of the accused were taken to Chitradurga for a spot inquest. One of the accused, Arun Kumar, was allowed to attend his father Chandranna's funeral, who had died after Arun's arrest. A mahazar was conducted at Arun Kumar's house as well.
The police team also visited the house of another suspect and Darshan's fan club office-bearer in Chitradurga, Raghavendra, at Doddapete. They seized Rs 5 lakh in cash and gold from the house. Officials also visited the house of Ravi Shankar, a taxi driver, and seized his car, which was allegedly used to kidnap Renuka Swamy.
Police have recovered the clothes Renuka Swamy wore when he was beaten and killed, from a location in Pattanagere. The accused had changed his clothes and dumped his body.
Sandalwood hero Darshan, close friend Pavithra Gowda, and 11 associates have been remanded in custody until June 20 for the murder of Renuka Swamy. There was drama in court as the defense argued about the phone seizure without permission, while the prosecution emphasized the need for further questioning to prevent evidence destruction.
