Namma Metro: No Services On 3 Stretches Of Purple Line In Bengaluru On August 27

Bengaluru Metro's Purple Line services will be disrupted on Sunday to facilitate the commissioning of extensions between Krishnarajapura (KR Puram) to Baiyappanahalli and Kengeri to Chalaghatta Metro stations. During this time, from 7 am to 1 pm, services won't be available.

Stations affected are:

• Mysuru Road to Kengeri Metro Stations
• Baiyappanahalli to SV Road Metro Stations
• Whitefield (Kadugodi) to KR Pura Metro Stations

According to the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), train services will operate only between Swamui Vivekananda Road and Mysore Road Metro stations on the Purple Line from 7 am to 1 pm.

However, after 1 pm, regular train services will resume from Baiyappanahalli to Kengeri Metro stations and from KR Pura to Whitefield (Kadugodi) Metro stations, running until 11 pm as usual. Notably, the Green Line services will remain unaffected during this period, as stated by the BMRCL.
