Nandini Milk is 100% Safe: KMF Dismisses ‘False’ Social Media Claims and Confirms FSSAI Compliance

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) on Monday issued a public clarification dismissing social media posts that questioned the safety of Nandini milk and dairy products.

In a statement, the federation termed the allegations circulating on Instagram and other platforms as "false and misleading". It said the posts had created avoidable confusion among consumers and did not reflect the quality standards followed in the manufacture of Nandini products.

KMF said all its milk and dairy items comply with the regulations laid down by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The cooperative added that production, processing and packaging are carried out in accordance with prescribed scientific methods and statutory norms.

"Every batch undergoes strict quality checks to ensure safety and hygiene," the statement said, adding that routine monitoring mechanisms are in place across its units.

The federation appealed to consumers not to rely on unverified content and reiterated that Nandini products are safe for daily consumption. It described the brand as a trusted household name built over decades.

KMF also warned that legal action would be initiated against individuals or groups found spreading defamatory or misleading information about its products.

Reaffirming its commitment to consumer trust, the federation said it would continue to adhere to national food safety standards and maintain transparency in its operations.
