Namma Metro Timings for May 13 and 17: BMRCL Issues Updated Timetable for Two Days

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that metro services on May 13 and 17 will now operate as per the regular schedule. This comes after the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches slated for those dates were postponed, prompting a change in the previously announced extended metro timings.

In its earlier communication, BMRCL had planned to extend metro operations until 1:30 AM on both the Purple and Green Lines to accommodate match-day crowds. However, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) rescheduling the matches, the metro authority has rolled back those plans.

"Following the postponement of IPL matches by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), BMRCL will not be extending metro services until 1:30 AM on May 13 and May 17, 2025, on both the Purple and Green Lines as committed earlier," BMRCL said in a press release.

"Instead, metro train operations will follow the regular schedule on both lines. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and refer to BMRCL's official website and social media platforms for any further updates," the statement added.
