Namma Metro Majestic Station: New Gate Eases Green To Purple Line Switch
Commuters using Namma Metro's Green Line and switching to the Purple Line at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station (Majestic) now have reason to celebrate. A newly inaugurated entry gate aims to streamline the transition between these two busy routes.
With daily ridership on Namma Metro steadily increasing and predictions suggesting it may soon exceed 1 million passengers, the Purple Line has particularly seen a surge in usage. Many passengers need to transfer from the Green Line to the Purple Line at Majestic. Previously, limited access points for switching lines caused congestion, especially during peak hours from 8 AM to 10 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM, leading to delays and discomfort.

The new entry gate is expected to address these issues, making line transfers more efficient and less stressful, particularly during rush hours.
