Murder In Koramangala: 24-Year-Old Woman From Bihar Stabbed To Death In PG
A 24-year-old woman was killed in her hostel in Bengaluru by a man who slipped into the building late last night, police said on Wednesday. The woman, identified as Kriti Kumari from Bihar, was living in a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Koramangala.
Kriti Kumari, a native of Bihar, worked in a private firm and was staying in a ladies PG in VGR Layout. According to the police, the assailant was known to her. He visited her room on the third floor around 11:10 p.m., stabbed her multiple times, and slashed her neck before fleeing.

The attacker, who remains unidentified, entered the building at 11 p.m. on Tuesday with a knife and slit Kriti's throat before escaping, police said. The motive behind the murder is still unclear, and the police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the perpetrator.
The incident has highlighted security lapses on the part of the PG accommodation management. DCP (South East) Sara Fathima visited the spot and is supervising the investigation. The police are examining CCTV camera footage to track the accused.
