Murder Case In Bengaluru: Friend Allegedly Kills Vijay Kumar Over Affair With His Wife

A 39-year-old man named Vijay Kumar was allegedly murdered by his childhood friend, Dhananjaya, also known as Jay, in Bengaluru. The police suspect the motive was an affair between Dhananjaya and Vijay's wife, Asha. Vijay and Dhananjaya had been friends for over three decades, having grown up together in Magadi before moving to Sunkadakatte.

Vijay worked in real estate and finance and married Asha about ten years ago. They resided in Kamakshipalya. Recently, Vijay discovered Asha's relationship with Dhananjaya after catching them together and finding photographic evidence. Despite relocating to a rented house in Machohalli near Kadabagere to salvage his marriage, the affair reportedly persisted.

Police Investigation Underway

On the day of the incident, Vijay stayed home until evening before leaving. He was later found dead in DGroup Layout, Machohalli. The police have detained Asha for questioning while searching for Dhananjaya, who is currently on the run.

In a separate case from June, another tragic incident occurred near Bengaluru involving a 28-year-old man named Shankar. He was arrested for allegedly beheading his wife due to suspicions of her infidelity. Shankar surrendered at Suryanagar Police Station with her severed head.

Details of the June Incident

According to police reports, Shankar lived in Hennagara and committed the act after allegedly discovering his wife with another man at their rented residence on June 3rd night. The couple had been experiencing ongoing marital issues since their love marriage and had recently relocated to the area.

The altercation that night escalated into violence, resulting in the wife's death. Following this horrific act, Shankar rode his bike to the police station where he turned himself in.
