Lake Alive: Puttenahalli Kere Habba 2015 in Bengaluru on Feb 21.

Bengaluru, Feb 19:Lake Alive -- Puttenahalli Kere Habba 2015 will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb 21. This is an event which will be held to encourage people to take up the cause of lakes in general in Bengaluru.

Work to save Puttenahalli lake is in progress. BBMP also has been giving infrastructural support and organisers of the event maintain the lake with donations from well wishers.

Kere Habba is an initiative of the Namma Bengaluru Foundation to promote conservation of lakes. Partnering PNLIT in this event is Arghyam's India Water Portal.

The festivities will start from 3 pm and go on till 7 pm. Entry is free and open to all. Interested people can give donations to the lake fund.
