Bengaluru's recent shift in weather patterns is part of a seasonal transition. The Northeast Monsoon officially concluded on January 26, paving the way for cooler temperatures and sporadic rain.

During this transitional period, daytime temperatures are peaking at around 30 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures have dropped to a pleasant 15-16 degrees Celsius.

India's monsoon cycle is defined by key seasonal milestones. The Southwest Monsoon typically begins around June 1, reaching Bengaluru between June 5 and June 8, and withdrawing by October 15. This gives way to the Northeast Monsoon, which concludes by late January. This year, the end of the Northeast Monsoon has marked the onset of cooler, rain-filled days for Bengaluru.

With more rainy days ahead, Bangaloreans are advised to keep their umbrellas handy and embrace the city's misty charm.
