Karnataka Weather Alert: Bengaluru Likely To See More Rains Today, IMD Issues Yellow Alert
Bengaluru is expected to experience weather conditions similar to or better than yesterday. Anekal and Bengaluru East talukas witnessed storms, while the southern areas are currently under cloud cover with occasional thunder and light rain. It is anticipated that the south will soon join in experiencing substantial rainfall.
Rainfall is expected to start gradually and peak late into the night over Bengaluru and Mysuru cities. Central Karnataka districts can also expect significant rainfall today.

Moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms are likely, particularly in the interior regions of Karnataka, until November 9th.
On Tuesday, some areas, such as Hennur, experienced slow-moving traffic due to waterlogging.
Bengaluru's Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) saw its wettest November day since November 3, 2015 when it received 95.3mm of rain, surpassing its November average of 64.5mm. The accumulated rainfall (ATR) is expected to reach 114.6mm on November 9, 1916.

IMD has predicted light to moderate showers in Bengaluru city on Tuesday and has placed Bengaluru, along with Shivamogga, Chamarajanagar, Chitradurga, Davangere, Gadag, Tumkuru, and Chikkaballapura districts, on yellow alert.
On Monday, heavy rain led to waterlogged roads, causing traffic disruptions in various parts of Bengaluru. The downpour resulted in extensive waterlogging on roads, leading to traffic congestion in multiple areas. Stranded commuters experienced significant delays in Shantinagar, Malleswaram, Mysore Bank, Town Hall, and other areas due to flooded streets and submerged underpasses, particularly after torrential rain. Autorickshaw drivers reported vehicle breakdowns while navigating waterlogged roads.
