Karnataka: JDS Chief HD Kumaraswamy Rushed To Hospital After His Nose Starts Bleeding During Press Conference

Karnataka: Janta Dal-Secular (JDS) president and former chief minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy was rushed to a hospital after his nose started bleeding during a press conference on Sunday.

Kumaraswamy is currently serving as the Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel. As per the media reports, HD Kumaraswamy has been taken to the Apollo Hospital in Jayanagara and doctors are treating his nose.

A video shared by the news agency ANI shows Union Minister standing near to mics set up by media personnel. He was accompanied by his party leaders and BJP's YS Yeddyurappa.

HD Kumaraswamy was wearing a white color shirt, which within seconds had big blood spots. He was then offered a towel to cover and hold his nose to stop the bleeding.

HD Kumaraswamy Medical History:

Earlier this year, JDS stalwart underwent a transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), a non-surgical procedure, at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.

He has also suffered strokes twice in the past.
