Karnataka Exit Poll 2024: BJP Set to Win Big with 20-22 Seats, Congress Trails at 3-5

India Today-My Axis has released its exit poll predictions for the 2024 Karnataka Lok Sabha elections, forecasting a lead for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to their predictions, the BJP is expected to secure 23-25 seats, while the Congress is projected to win only 3-5 seats. The Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) is expected to secure 2-3 seats, with no seats predicted for other parties.

News18's exit polls also paint a favorable picture for the BJP, suggesting that they are likely to win 21-24 seats in Karnataka. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), of which the BJP is a part, is projected to secure 23-26 seats. On the other hand, the Indian National Congress (INC), including the INDIA bloc, is expected to win 3-7 seats.

The latest exit polls for Karnataka predict a landslide victory for the BJP-led NDA alliance, with projections ranging from 20 to 26 seats. Times Now-ETG Research and News18 predict 23 to 26 seats for the NDA and 3 to 7 seats for the INDIA bloc.

Today's Chanakya forecasts 42 seats for the NDA and 4 seats for the INDIA alliance. News18-Mega exit poll echoes a similar sentiment, predicting a BJP landslide with 23-26 seats, while Congress is expected to win 3-7 seats.

Jan ki Baat exit poll projects 21 to 23 seats for the NDA and 5 to 7 seats for the Congress out of the total 28 seats. TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat predicts 20 seats for the NDA and 8 seats for the Congress.

Axis My India exit poll anticipates 23 to 25 seats for the BJP out of the total 28 seats, with the Congress likely to secure three to five seats. The final results will be revealed on the election result day.

In the previous Lok Sabha elections held in 2019, the BJP had a strong performance in Karnataka, winning 25 seats. The INC managed to win only 1 seat, while the JD(S) and an independent candidate supported by the BJP each won 1 seat. The voter turnout in Karnataka was impressive, with 68.96% recorded on April 18 and 68.66% on April 23.

Despite facing controversy, India Today predicts that Prajwal Revanna will emerge victorious in the Hassan constituency even after being accused of sexual assault by multiple women . These exit poll results indicate a strong showing for the BJP in Karnataka, reaffirming its dominance in the state's political landscape.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the HD Deve Gowda-led Janata Dal (Secular), which was previously in alliance with the Congress in 2019, has joined the BJP-led NDA. Karnataka voted in two phases to elect its 28 MPs to the Lok Sabha, casting their votes during the second and third phases of polling on April 26 and May 7, respectively.

The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka are set to be declared on June 4.
