Karnataka Dam Water Level Today (30th May 2025) | Check Dam Water Level in Karnataka State
Karnataka Dam Water Level Today: Karnataka is witnessing a substantial rise in water levels across its 14 major reservoirs, essential for water supply, drinking water needs, and electricity production. As of May 30, these reservoirs are nearing their maximum capacity due to persistent heavy rainfall.
According to KSNDMC, Karnataka's reservoirs held 298 TMC of water as of Thursday (May 29), against a total capacity of 895 TMC - just 33 percent. Meanwhile, inflow into the Bhadra Dam has increased.
The water level in the KRS (Krishna Raja Sagara) reservoir has risen by 11 feet in just four days. As a result, after several years, the reservoir is nearly full to 100 feet in the month of May itself. If the rainfall continues at this rate, the dam is likely to be full by the second week of June. Four days ago, the water level had dropped to 89 feet, causing concern among locals about drinking water shortages.
