Karnataka Dam Water Level Today (29th May 2025) | Check Dam Water Level in Karnataka State
Karnataka Dam Water Level Today: Karnataka is witnessing a substantial rise in water levels across its 14 major reservoirs, essential for water supply, drinking water needs, and electricity production. As of May 29, these reservoirs are nearing their maximum capacity due to persistent heavy rainfall.
Due to heavy rains in the Cauvery basin, the Krishnarajasagar reservoir (KRS Dam) in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district has risen by 9 feet in just three days, reaching a current water level of 92 feet. Normally, the reservoir crosses 100 feet only by late June or July, but recent heavy rainfall in Kodagu and Mysore has significantly increased the inflow-from 150 cusecs on Saturday to 26,424 cusecs by 8 am on Wednesday-causing the water level to surge by more than 6 feet in this short period.
