Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah on Sunday inaugurated the folk festival 'Namma Jaatre' in Bengaluru. The festival is part of the state-organized 'Karnataka Sambhrama-50,' which is being celebrated to mark 50 years or the golden jubilee of the renaming of Mysore as Karnataka. Karnataka Sambhrama-50 is organized by the Kannada and Culture Department.
Along with the chief minister Siddaramaiah, Minister for Backward Class Development and Kannada and Culture, Shivaraj Tangadagi, CM's political secretary Naseer Ahmed, and Chief Secretary Rajneesh Goel were present at the inaugural ceremony.

Kannada film actors Sadhu Kokila and Pooja Gandhi also graced the event with their presence.
A post shared by the Chief Minister's office in Kanada, which was roughly translated into English, on the micro-blogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) reads, "The Chief Minister @siddaramaiah inaugurated the "Namma Jatre" program at Vidhansouda and wished him well.
