Is Extreme Workout The Real Cause Of Spandana Vijay Raghavendra's Death? Gym Trainer Opens Up

After the demise of Spandana Vijay Raghavendra, Kannada news channels started discussions regarding the potential causes for the untimely deaths of young people and whether there might be connections to the physical exercise routines and diets typically undertaken by celebrities.

Like in the case of Sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar, who died after suffering a cardiac arrest in 2021, people started wondering whether Spandana's gym workouts and diets might have triggered a heart attack. Now, her personal trainer Niranjan has broken his silence.

Is The Real Cause Of Spandana Vijay Raghavendras Death Is Extreme Workout? Gym Trainer Breaks Silence

Spandana had joined the gym two months ago and every day she used to do workouts around 45-50 minutes. "She had joined the gym to improve her fitness level and used to do moderate workouts. She had recently started cardio activities," he told in an interview with a Kannada channel.

"However, it is wrong to blame gym workouts for her death. There are many factors here like lifestyle and mental and physical health. Stress levels also have a role in heart attacks," Niranjan claims.

He points out the three key factors to achieve fitness goals: workout, rest and nutrition. "Looking fit and being fit are totally different things," he added.

The gym trainer claimed that without proper sleep one cannot be fit. Niranjan states that they check the fitness level of people who join their gym.

"We check the current fitness level, how healthy are their joints, heart and lungs. Based on it, we design workouts for them to achieve their desired goal," he stated.

The trainer recalls Spandana telling him that she would not be coming to the gym for a week as she was going out of the country.

On the other hand, a debate has been triggered on "adverse effects" of Keto diet and extreme exercise after her death.

Sources have told news agency IANS that an extreme push towards losing weight is said to be the reason for her heart attack as she was following a keto diet and doing extreme exercise. Spandana garnered significant praise for her remarkable 16 kg weight loss, the report said.

Meanwhile, her body is expected to reach Bengaluru around 11 pm on Tuesday and it will be kept for paying last tributes at the residence of Spandana's father BK Shivaram. The final rites will be performed at the Harishchandra Ghat in Srirampura by Wednesday noon.
