Interpol Help Sought In Bengaluru School Bomb Threat Case
Four days after a fake bomb threat email sent to 68 schools in Bengaluru, police have filed a total of 27 cases and are seeking international assistance to identify the culprits.
In a recent development, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda has disclosed that the police have registered cases in various police stations across the city in connection with the fake bomb threat case. He further stated that a meeting of all investigating officers has been held to review the progress of the investigation.

Dayananda also informed that the police have contacted the beeble.com company, from which the threatening emails originated, and have gathered relevant information. Additionally, the police have sought assistance from the Interpol wing of the CBI to gather international intelligence on similar cases reported in countries like America, Germany, and Malaysia.
Last year, Bengaluru schools faced a similar situation where threatening emails were sent. In those cases, some juveniles were apprehended. Dayananda has instructed the investigating officers to examine any potential connections between the current case and the previous incidents.
The police have not yet found any explosives during their searches, but the investigation is ongoing. The police are working diligently to identify the culprits and bring them to justice.
