Bengaluru: 25-Year-Old Kerala Man Murders Live-In Partner With Pressure Cooker, Arrested
A 25-year-old man was arrested in Bengaluru on Sunday for allegedly murdering his 24-year-old live-in partner with a pressure cooker. The accused, identified as Vaishnav, a native of Kollam, is an engineering graduate.
The police said that Vaishnav and the victim, Devi a native of Thiruvananthpuram, had been living together for the past two years. They had met three years ago and started dating shortly after.

On Saturday evening, the couple got into an argument after Vaishnav suspected that Devi was in relationship with another man. He allegedly hit her with a pressure cooker multiple times, killing her instantly.
Vaishnav then fled the scene, but he was arrested by the police a few hours later. He has admitted to the crime and has been charged with murder.
The police said that Vaishnav was jealous of Devi and did not trust her. He had been accusing her of infidelity for some time, and the argument on Saturday was the culmination of his suspicions.
The victim's family is in shock and grief. They said that Devi was a kind and gentle person who would never cheat on anyone. They are demanding justice for her and hope that the accused is punished to the fullest extent of the law.
