According to the latest IMD forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre in Bengaluru, both Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts are likely to witness partly cloudy skies between May 12 and May 16.

Light rain and thundershowers are expected from May 13 onwards, while light to moderate rain accompanied by gusty winds of 30-40 kmph is likely between May 14 and May 16.

As per IMD data, Bengaluru Urban recorded a maximum temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23.4 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours, while Bengaluru Rural recorded 34.7 degrees Celsius and 22.7 degrees Celsius respectively. No rainfall was recorded in either district.

The IMD forecast said daytime temperatures are likely to remain around 35-36 degrees Celsius during the week.
