Bengaluru: Heavy Rains Cause Traffic Jam In Many Areas; Check Weather Report For Nov 7

Bengaluru witnessed heavy rains on Monday evening, leading to traffic jams in many areas.

The waterlogging caused the Bengaluru Traffic Police to issue an advisory outlining the roads affected by flooding and to avoid such roads.

The slow movement of traffic was reported in these areas: Kasturinagar on ORR road, MMT Junction towards KR Puram Railway station, Vidya Shilpa underpass service road in Kogilu junction, Kalyananagara 80 feet road near Kalyan Nagar under bridge, Veeranyapalya Down Ramp road, Kalyananagara 80 feet road near Kalyan Nagar under bridge, Dinnur main road 2. CIL cross, Jayamahal road, Vidhyashilpa flyover, Lalbagh main gate, RMZ towards Benniganahalli Metro Station, Queen's Junction, Anil Kumble Junction, Banasawadi Main road, Veerannapalya Towards Hebbal Circle Service Road, tin factory side of Kasturi Nagar ring road, R Pura Sanchar Thana border, Hebbal Upramp and Dowanramp, Kempapura Towards city and Hebbal Circle Service Road.

Weather Report for Tuesday
The sky is expected to remain mostly cloudy and There's a possibility of occasional rain or thundershowers towards the evening or night, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

"Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of rain/thundershowers very likely towards evening/night. Mist very likely during early morning hours in some areas. Maximum & Minimum temperatures very likely to be around 29 and 20 Degree Celsius respectively," the statement said.

Heavy Rains In Karnataka
Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

As per the weather monitoring agency, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and over Kodagu, Chikkaballapura, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru and Kolar districts of South Interior Karnataka.
